Visit Western Illinois Museum


Western Illinois Museum welcomes visitors of all ages. There is no admission to visit the museum, donations are appreciated. Suggested donation for adults is $5, and $2 for children, students and seniors.

 

The museum is located one block from Macomb's historic Courthouse Square. Make a visit to the museum on your next trip to the square or local restaurant.

 

The museum staff and docents run events and programs to accompany each exhibition and welcomes visits from schools, clubs, and centers. The museum staff will work with each groups interests to make the visit more meaningful and educational. To arrange a special tour for your group contact the museum. Advanced notice is recommend for groups larger than 15.

 

There is free parking conveniently located behind the museum on Lafayette Street and to the west of the museum on Washington Street. The museum is fully handicap accessible.
